Frequently Asked Questions


  1. If I had filled my prescription at another pharmacy, can I refill it at HealthSmart?
    Yes. Just ask us and with our free prescription transfer service, we will do all the work. We will contact your previous pharmacy and/or physician and process all of the information required by law to transfer your prescription to HealthSmart.

  2. I don't have prescription coverage; will you accept my credit card?
    Yes. At HealthSmart we accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and all other major credit cards as well as debit cards. We also have an ATM on location, so that you may use your debit card or Quest card.

  3. Do I have to shop around at various pharmacies to make sure that I get charged a fair price for my prescriptions?
    No. At HealthSmart, we recommend that you always utilize the same pharmacy for all of your prescriptions needs. This process ensures your safety since all of your medication records will be at one location to be reviewed by our Register Pharmacists and since HealthSmart accepts most major insurance plans the co-pay that you will be charges will be the same at any retail pharmacy location or if you pay cash for your medications we guarantee that we have a competitive price schedule that will meet your needs.

  4. If it's late and I need milk for my baby, will HealthSmart have it?
    Yes. HealthSmart has many convenience items and specials every day in addition to their pharmacy services. It has over 4000 square feet of items to solve most any need that may arise even fresh milk.

  5. Does HealthSmart offer a senior discount?
    Yes. HealthSmart has a 10% discount especially for seniors on all cash prescriptions every day. They even accept Medicare and EPIC for those covered items. (And do all of the paperwork as well)

  6. I have seen that other pharmacies claim to offer patient counseling; does HealthSmart do that as well?
    Yes and more. HealthSmart utilizes the newest in patient counseling software for the safety of their patients. This information can be printed out by our computers for patients and is reviewed by our pharmacists regularly for professional medication counseling. It can even be printed in Spanish.

  7. I work 13-hour days; will I ever be able to pick up my prescriptions?
    Yes. HealthSmart is open 7 days per week/365 days per year. Monday through Friday we are open 8am-9pm, Saturdays 9am-7pm & Sundays 10am-6pm. We are even open on Holidays. And if you still have trouble getting to us, we will come to you by courier and/or UPS (we ship all over the USA for an additional fee).
